DUE TO THE COVID 19 SITUATION AND A LACK OF RIDING INSTRUCTORS WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY ABLE TO OFFER SUMMER CAMPS. Once the situation changes, we will update this site.
Summer camps are an interactive way for kids to be able to learn new passions and hobbies. At North Country Stables they will not only have the experience of working with horses but they will also learn a new hobby with new friends in a fun, safe environment.
Camps are a great place for children of all ages to interact with each other in a low-key, no-bullying setting. In addition to learning how to ride and handle horses, we vary each day with games and many activities.
Camp participants will usually ride twice a day, having trail rides, water fights and learning how to properly take care of horses. If your child has been begging you for riding lessons, the camp is a great introduction to horses and a good way to tell if your child really wants to commit to the sport of riding for the long term.
Riding lessons are conducted in groups of no more than 6 riders and each lesson will go for about an hour and a half.
